Your new role at SparkLoop
As our new Account Executive, you'll help the world’s best newsletters discover, get excited by, and join the SparkLoop recommendations network.
Initial responsibilities
- Prospecting: Using your own network/opportunities and our agency partner to discover awesome newsletters
- Nurturing & Qualifying: Helping the awesome newsletters in our inbound/outbound pipelines understand the potential of SparkLoop for their business. Via email, DMs, calls and webinars
- Closing: Building the plan and momentum needed for smaller newsletter operators to start with SparkLoop today. And for larger newsletter operators to connect with our account managers for strategy advice
Signs this role is perfect for you
You very probably have:
- 1+ years experience working in or with successful newsletter businesses (50k+ subscribers or $1m+ in revenue)
- 1+ years experience in a sales role — likely in an agency or SaaS product
- Hunger and drive to get results (for yourself and clients)
- The confidence, presence and skillset to communicate effectively with decision makers at major media brands in native-level English
- A strong timezone overlap with the US for your working day
In a perfect world, you also have:
- In-depth knowledge of how to use a major ESP
- Prior experience using SparkLoop’s products
- A newsletter of your own
- A solid existing online network/profile in the media industry/newsletter space
